She was prefabricated by J. McArthur & Co. and Bow McLachlan Co., Glasgow Scotland. She was brought to Vancouver on the Grandholm. In 1892 she was assembled at Union Shipyard, Coal Harbour, Vancouver BC by Henry Darling. On 22/06/1892 she was seized by US Customs in a sealing dispute. She was towed from Sitka to Port Townsend WA. Ion 26/05/1909 she caught fire off Cape Roger Curtis Pointon Bowen Island. In 1959 she was sunk as a breakwater at Trinity Bay, Malcolm Island BC.
